Tui Na massage does so much more than just make you feel good. It helps improve circulation and enlivens stagnant cells and fluids that, when left unattended, leaves you feeling ill or tired. Tui Na massage also enables you to release destructive patterns that prevent you from healing effectively.

Muscles can be easily damaged. When left uncorrected, adhesions form, which often lead to chronic pain. Unlike deep-tissue massage, Tui Na invokes a healing response in your body and reverses the damage, instead of plowing through it with force and causing a great deal of pain. Trying to break up scar tissue (adhesions) with deep pressure makes about as much sense as trying to heal a callous on you foot by wearing tighter shoes. Deep tissue work, if applied incorrectly, can leave you with more scar tissue than you started with.

Tui Na massage incorporates acupressure. This highly-effective method of Chinese massage is particularly effective in relieving chronic pain alignment issues, and damaged tissue. It works well as a standalone treatment or compliments and enhances your acupuncture treatments.
